Not The Same

Hands & Teeth, a band that was an unsigned act until recently, has join Underground Operations, a label based out of Toronto that was established in 1995. The label is mostly known for their punk and metal-core acts within their family, but not without a few exceptions. After being signed, Hands & Teeth became label mates with Protest the Hero and Lights, probably the two names that made the label as big as it is today. Hopefully Hands & Teeth will enjoy as much success as their label mates

Before The Light, despite only having five tracks, is easily the band’s most diverse release. A couple of the songs are heavy and dark, while the remainder don’t stray too far from their old sound. It’s always good to see a band become more diverse, especially one as talented as Hands & Teeth.

Their most recent EP, Before The Light is set to be released on the 11th of March. The band is currently on tour in an effort to promote the album. They will be playing at the Grad Club tonight, and as a special treat, will be joining us at the CFRC for an interview. If you miss the live show, don’t worry, the show will be archived and a podcast will be made available on our Soundcloud profile. Regardless, get your butt to the Grad Club tonight. Doors are at 9 and the music starts at 10.
