Hunt and Chase, the debut album from Megan Bonnell, delicately dances somewhere on the border between anguish and joy; scarcity and abundance; what is eerie and what is comfortable.  Never dipping too far into either end, always keeping one toe on the other side of the line.

There is a sadness in “Stars” but I wouldn’t classify it as a sad song.  It’s reflexive.  While some songs have the capacity to transcend you into an alternate reality making you forget all of the things, both big and little, cluttering your mind this song invites you to look a bit deeper and think a little harder. What are you dreaming about right now? What are you afraid of? Who is your favourite Beatle? Press play and spend a few minutes inside your headspace, see what you find.
