The West

Finding new Canadian music is the BEST, especially if they are so close to home. For the past couple days, I’ve been listening to Dan Daly, an indie dance rock trio hailing from Mississauga, Ontario. Forming only just last year, their self entitled EP, Dan Daly will, without a doubt, have you dancing and head bobbin’. I don’t know if it’s their tasty riffs, ambient tone, catchy choruses or sold sounding drums, but the album has got me raving for days. The song “The West” is an instant favourite. The mixture of mellowness and energy is killer followed by a great chant-section bridge. It’s one of those songs you hear at a show for the first time and get instantly hooked. Very interested to see where this band is headed in the future. For more music check out their Bandcamp.
